College Roommates
to Founders
The story of HNY+ began at TCU, where three friends connected over a shared passion for health and nutrition. What started as a quirky pre-workout ritual—taking spoonfuls of honey and salt—evolved into an entrepreneurial journey. Late-night kitchen sessions in their dorm room led to the creation of a simple yet powerful product, blending natural carbohydrates and electrolytes for optimal performance. After countless hours of hard work, they hand-filled pouches and distributed samples to fellow athletes on campus. The overwhelming positive feedback ignited their ambition, and HNY+ was born—a clean, effective energy solution that provides a boost without a crash. Today, HNY+ has fueled thousands of athletes across the globe, but this is just the beginning.

A native of San Diego, Liam brings a ethos of balanced living and vitality to the HNY+ brand. His passion for HNY+ started with a personal journey to simplify health and adopt a powerful yet straightforward pre-workout routine. After seeing countless friends use products marketed as healthy but containing compromising ingredients, he decided to do something about it. Fueled by years of research into health and nutrition, Liam has committed to delivering a product that contains precisely what is marketed on the package.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Ross is known for his hilarious crusade against seed oils, often lecturing friends about their hidden dangers while clearing out their pantries. His passion for health and wellness inspired him to create a clean product that athletes could trust—and that he himself would use. You’ll find Ross slinging samples and putting HNY+ into the hands of athletes who need it most. He envisions a world where people no longer have to check ingredient labels for cheap fillers—they can trust the food system to deliver clean, honest products.
Growing up in Orange County, Luke spent countless hours mountain biking and like most athletes, he relied on synthetic products packed with maltodextrin. But every ride ended the same—with intense stomach pain that doctors dismissed as “part of the sport.” In college, Luke met Liam and Ross, who were experimenting with honey and salt as a natural pre-workout. Inspired by their idea, he shared his own struggles with energy gels and knew they were onto something. Together, they set out to create a product athletes could rely on—clean, simple, and easy on the gut.
